Allow for three separate schedules.

Separate preparation of the file, the registration visit and preparation of the certificate for its destination. Finishing one step does not mean that every later service is complete.

When arranging travel, account for any required translation, working days and possible steps after issuance. Confirm what can be done on your intended dates before making bookings that cannot be changed.

A one-day registration arrangement is conditional on complete documents and the registering authority's capacity on the requested date. Translation, authentication and use abroad may require separate time.

Describe any tight deadline in the first enquiry. Ask which steps are feasible during your stay and which depend on a later decision or another provider.

Choose registration first, then any celebration.

Decide whether you need official registration and the certificate alone or would also like photography or a ceremony. That choice changes coordination, guest arrangements and the estimate.

Your priorityQuestions to ask
Administrative registrationWhere do we attend, what is the visit arrangement and how will we receive the certificate?
A personal celebrationWhich venue and services are included, and which costs are separate?
Guests or photographyWhat attendance and photography arrangements are available at the selected location?

Photography, flowers, beauty services, a celebration, accommodation and transfers are optional coordination services. Their inclusion depends on your date, provider availability and agreed details; list the chosen items in the written proposal.

Understand what each cost pays for.

Ordinary registration at the agency's territorial offices and Public Service Hall branches is free without special ceremony services.

Official fee reference: Georgian Public Service Development Agency.

A private coordination proposal is separate from the public registration fee. Ask for these items to be identified rather than comparing a single unexplained total:

  • Private assistance: document review, coordination and attendance included in the scope.
  • Translation and interpreting: documents, languages and any registration-day interpreting.
  • Official document services: the requested authentication or certificate-related process and how its fee is paid.
  • After registration: any translation, authentication or delivery included in the estimate.
  • Optional ceremony and travel: the providers, duration and arrangements selected.
  • Changes: what happens if dates, documents or the service scope change.

The estimate depends on both nationalities, previous marriage history, travel documents, the receiving country, timing needs and optional services. We do not publish a universal private-service price on this page. Request a written estimate for your actual case.

Check the plan before travelling.

  • Review entry requirements for the travel document you will use through official sources.
  • Keep the original documents and confirmed checklist accessible.
  • Confirm the visit location, date and route before registration day.
  • Coordinate any required witnesses and interpreter.
  • Keep the coordinator's phone number and visit details available.
  • Allow time for any steps after issuance and possible schedule changes.

Official travel resources: GeoConsul and the Georgian e-Visa portal. Confirm your individual entry position with the responsible authority.

Before paying for a translation or booking travel, read the document preparation guide.

Check the certificate before the next step.

Compare names, dates and other printed details with your identity records. If you notice a difference, contact the issuing authority or coordinator for the appropriate correction process; do not alter the certificate yourself.

Keep a secure copy for reference and prepare the original as required by the receiving office. Match any translation or authentication service to that office's current instructions. Continue with the guide to using a Georgian marriage certificate abroad.

Ask for a plan matched to your dates.

Share both nationalities, approximate travel dates, destination country and selected services. Support is available in Georgian, Persian and English.
